NAKEDS
FEATURING THE WORK OF PETER DREHER
The Museum Of__ proudly presents
Nakeds
Curated by Mark Quint
Similar to his other series, Dreher casts his gaze and tracks the subtle changes in the ways their skin absorbs and reflects light and shadow.
Dreher’s body of work is defined by extensive observation of a singular subject. In 1990, he began this series of nearly life-sized female nudes in front of a white wall, and continued making a single painting of a different woman each subsequent year.
Dreher’s work reflects his preoccupation
with repetition and the passage of time.
